Alex, I think you are unknowingly highlighting one of the
largest complaints. There is no easy way to get people to move up the
bands. When we make contact on voice, before we are done I ask for other
bands and we work through them. On FT8 there is no great way to do that. I
worked a lot of stations on 6m & 2m FT8 that I should have been able to
work through 70cm and maybe even 23cm. There was no way to coordinate that
without having their number or being on a chat page.
