All,

If you participated in the ARRL 222 MHz & Up Distance Contest, and
have not yet submitted your log, be aware the deadline is fast
approaching (logs must be uploaded by Sunday August 19 @ 1800 UTC via
the ARRL Web App at http://contest-log-submission.arrl.org/). Email me
with any questions: w9jj@arrl.org

And don't forget this weekend is the first of the two 10 GHz & Up
events, and the September VHF Contest is just a few weeks away...

- 10 GHz & Up Contest – August 18-19, 2018 is the first weekend of the
ARRL 10 GHz Contest (weekend two is September 15-16, 2018). Operations
may take place for 24 hours total on each contest weekend. Each
weekend begins at 6:00 AM local Saturday though 12:00 midnight local
Sunday. In recent weeks, the San Bernardino Microwave Society had
their tune-up event, and the North East Weak Signal Group had their
picnic with microwave range testing offer their members opportunity
for performance tweaking. If you have gear for 10, 24, 47, 74 GHz or
higher these are the weekends to dust them off and have fun. See the
full results at http://www.arrl.org/contest-results-articles - 2017 –
10 GHz and Up Contest.

- September VHF Contest – in just 3 weeks is the ARRL September VHF
contest. This event begins 1800 UTC Saturday and runs through 0259 UTC
Monday (September 8-10, 2018). Plenty of time to make your home,
portable or roving plans for the event. All bands and all modes above
50 MHz are allowed. See the full results at
http://www.arrl.org/contest-results-articles - 2017 - September VHF
Contest.

See the ARRL home page http://www.arrl.org/contest-rules for more
information on these and other events.

See also our NEW Contests Landing Page at http://contests.arrl.org/
and our Online Certificates page -

anything contest related, feel free to contact me.

Here’s wishing you all very successful late Summer VHF+ contest events...
