I was thinking about Owen, but now Gene too, and realize we are all getting
moved up closer to the top of the list.. whew..!
I'm very sad about Owen's passing. He was a good friend, colleague, even a
competitor at times, and was always a gentleman and just a great guy to deal
with and talk to. He did a LOT to help and promote our crazy little community
and he will definitely be missed. R.I.P. Owen..

Its always a shame to have this type of message pass over my screen. I first
met Owen at the "before Pack Rats VHF conference" Friday evening dinner. If
I remember correctly, Gene Zimmerman was also in attendance. Quality
entertainment if I must say...
