For most, the ARRL contest rules are just fine. There are a couple of things 
I'd like to have changed, too, but I couldn't convince the people who count to 
do them, so that's that. I still have fun in ARRL contests (and submit my score 
regardless of  how low it might be).

 that' s why I only submit check log logs for these
 contests.  I'm just in it for the Grids.
 Let just get on and make some noise and get
 some activity going.  It works for the 205 group on 2
 meters.
 And when things are slow with MS,
 EME and the skip is not open. Try the slow data  modes
 JT65/9 or CW.
 For those of us who aren't
 on Mtn tops or pent houses and using Long boom beams Use a
 moxon or loop
 and work some of us locals in
 the valleys.
