I seem to do this kind of stuff, pretty often. I would start by opening
circuit breakers. Then trace to an individual device. Cable TV and FIOS power
supplies are a problem. Never had a problem with a UPS. Battery chargers,
especially computer battery chargers can be a problem. After you get your own
house, clean, then go outside. I use my FT 817 to run down noise. I start with
the 6M Rubber Ducky, then when I get closer, switch to my Arrow Satellite Yagi.
You usually can nail a noise source pretty close on 432. Then you have to call
the power company - some are better than others.
There is no magic formula for running down RFI. You just have to look at
everything and persevere. Hope this helps...
