I operating a fixed station so my use of assistance was mostly on dxmaps.com, watching for general propagation trends. I spotted a few stations when I thought it would be helpful to expose changing conditions. I also monitored the ON4KST chat pages but did not find that very helpful. I wasn't doing EME or meteor scatter.

I agree with Joel...seemed refreshing, like we are in the 21st Century. I did not see any sketchy contacts or questionable behavior.

Hi Rick & gang,

There was a good group on EME during the contest. In the past it has
simply been trying to find a needle in a haystack which was quite
frustrating. This weekend we were able to post where we were calling CQ on
the N0UK JT65 page and it was refreshing. Everyone played by the rules and
made no comments about QSO information and just knowing where everyone was
operating generated quite a bit more activity and it was great.

Bottom line from here - Loved it, very refreshing and greatly help in
generating activity....exactly what it was supposed to do.

I'd like to get some feedback from those who may have used
self-spotting.What means did you use? Tweet? Phone? APRS? APP?
Internet? Was it useful? Did it change the dynamic of your operation? Any
great QSOs??My personal activity was a rove through 7 grids here in the
mid-Atlantic. Aside from making a few phone calls and texts to alert
stations to my availability, I did not have any time to use anything
else--having covered 660 miles over the weekend. Rick, K1DS/R
