I just uploaded 750+ qso's from June VHF for the W2LV operation.

LoTW had about 150 matches on 6 meters, none on 2 or above.

The problem as I see it is VHF types do not upload current or old QSOs to LoTW. It is the same as with the traditional QSL methods. You can send a card (Upload) but if the other stations do not reciprocate No Confirmation.

I upload all W2LV logs from Field Day, Sweeps and VHF. I do the same for my call, N2WM.

LoTW is not just an asset to HF operators, but VHF also if they would just join LoTW.

                    My 2 Cents

About 5 1/2 years ago, I joined up on LOTW. I had entered most all of my EME and VHF DX contacts on 144and other VHF bands into my computer logging program. I went back to 1974, and have about 75% entered up to now. (I think I have a logbook or two outstanding) The results on LOTW were staggering. I had almost no correlation between my QSOs and the confirmations on LOTW. I really am not upset as I do not chase any awards now, but many HFers do and they use LOTW at a much greater clip than VHFers. I use LOTW to keep them off my back. It does seem that the VHF participation is improving, but it is still BAD. I am up to 29 states worked via LOTW on 144. ( achieved 144 WAS in 1978!) LOTW says I have 49 on 50 MHz. It gets worse as you increase frequency. Not sure what will help other than word of mouth. I find uploading and checking to be very easy now with the new TQSL program.

Yes - cheaper with the bureau, but still a fair chunk of change just in
postage.

Ah, yes. Canada Post Corporation. I'll just leave it there but
having lived in H9H at one time, I feel your pain. I think, like VIA
Rail, their purpose is to dissuade you from using their service. :-D

Is there a buro for the Ultra Highs? Can we convince someone to start
one? I'd send envelopes! :-)
