It appears that there was no discussion or action taken at the recent
ARRL Board of Directors meeting in regard to VHF Operating Awards, or
discussions about VHF Contesting. Buried in the report of the meeting,
there was mention that the BoD thanked the VHF UHF Advisory Committee
for their work, and that the VUAC would sunset on July 31st.

===========================================================================
I'm very disappointed that not only was there no discussion of the
concerns raised by many VHF Operators, but also that to date, my ARRL
Division Director has not bothered to even acknowledge the concerns.
Despite this inaction, all of us who are concerned about the future of
VHF Operation must continue to communicate our desires to the ARRL. The
squeaking wheel is the one that gets the grease.
