I have on of those too. I have actually used it on FM for bike rides
etc where I have been out on the far end of the course and needed a
little extra HP. Which is what it was bought for. Its fair at best on
144, leaves a lot to be desired on 440.
Well tomorrow AM before it gets too warm I am going to pull out the
FT-817 and see how the SWR looks and try to dial it in. I may even
put it on the 20' mast and see if I can make any Q's.
