Yes, West Virginia IS part of the east coast where I live!  :-))))

Seriously, in the June contest when Es is active I can be very competetive,
and have won SOHP more than once, over east coast stations thanks to the
fact that I am surrounded by grids and have the advantage to work "both
coasts" on 6 meters single hop and some nice stuff on 2 meters.

The east coast guys can kick my posterior with Q's, but I can kick back with
many more mults! Sadly, though, that isn't the case in January & September.
