I once had the California Highway Patrol visit my QRP Portable site.  
The interesting thing is that I was located more than a mile off the 
highway out in the desert.  I asked the patrolman how he had known that 
I was there.  He answered that the reflection off my aluminum yagis was 
visible from the highway and that he wanted to investigate reflections 
that were unusual.
