Another technique is to use a half wavelength or integral multiple of half wavelengths of the 75 Ohm coax. A half wavelength transmission line will repeat the impedance at one end to the other. So if you connect 75 Ohm coax to a 50 Ohm load and feed it with a 50 Ohm generator, the generator will see a 50 Ohm match. Also, RG-6 designed for TV and video use is widely available, low loss, and cheap.
