It was asked how to enter an ARRL VHF Contest as a Limited
Multioperator, make QSOs on more than 4 bands and list the bands you
want counted for score in a Cabrillo log.
After consulting with the log-checkers and the Robot administrators,
this is the solution: use the CATEGORY-BAND: tag in your Cabrillo header
to list the bands you want to count for score.
An example of a Limited Multioperator Cabrillo header is below:
START-OF-LOG: 3.0
CONTEST: ARRL-VHF-JUN
CALLSIGN: W1AW
NAME: HIRAM MAXIM
ADDRESS: 225 MAIN ST.
ADDRESS: NEWINGTON, CT 06111
LOCATION: CT
CATEGORY-OPERATOR: MULTI-OP
CATEGORY-TRANSMITTER: LIMITED
CATEGORY-BAND: 6M 2M 2.3G 119G
CATEGORY-ASSISTED: ASSISTED
CATEGORY-STATION: FIXED
OPERATORS: W1AW W1HQ W1INF
Use these designators for the bands:
ALL
6M
2M
222
432
902
1.2G
2.3G
3.4G
5.7G
10G
24G
47G
75G
119G
142G
241G
Light
Any QSOs found in your submitted log on bands other than the ones listed
in the CATEGORY-BAND: tag will not be given QSO points or multiplier
credit and will be used as a checklog.
You will need to edit your CATEGORY-BAND: tag manually with your band
choices after it has been generated by your logging software.
This will allow you to submit your entire log and still declare what
bands you want used for your final score.
