So far everything is still a go for the contest this weekend. I still
haven't found any good high spots in EM77 and EM67 south of Louisville,
but I'll get an early start Saturday and try some more.
Here is the plan:
The ARRL September VHF QSO Party is nearly here! *Just 8 more days,
September 13 - 15, 2008. You can find all of the details here:

*
After the Greater Louisville Hamfest tomorrow, I plan to scout for a
couple of new operating spots. I'll send an update this week if I find
some better spots. But the basic plan is:
EM77 and EM67 on Saturday. Somewhere to the south of, but near
Louisville, KY.
EM68 and EM78 on Sunday. In Salem and Henryville, IN, respectively.
6 meters will be 100 watts, 3 elements at 18'.
2 meters will be 160 watts, 10 elements at 24'.
432 Mhz will be 100 watts, 18 elements at 21'.
Sorry, I still haven't been able to get back on 222.
Will also have FM on each band. I'll try to monitor 2m FM simplex, and
would be more than happy to work anyone on FM if you don't have SSB or
CW available. I also plan to call a lot on 144.220 +/- QRM, and .200
from time to time.
