Sounds like you have time to spare. ;-)

Just a while back I decided to give up on V/UHF since TVI b/c of a really bad
cable system in my neighborhood drained all the fun out of it. Now less than
two weeks before the contest I decided to try setting up some sort of rover
station in an area virtually void of VHF and UHF activity (Charleston, SC). My
plan is to be QRV on 6, 2 and 70. Dipole on 6 with 100W, 4 elements on 2 with
50 Watts and 6 elements on 432 with 50 Watts. Radio is going to be an FT-847;
power source a marine deep cycle battery with 600W pure sine wave inverter, and
the antennas will be mounted on a 16ft telescoping mast. Since the area is as
plat as a pancake I resort to parking garages to provide me with some
elevation.

This may net me 3 to 5 QSOs. So I'm not the one to as what crazy is. :)
