"no later than July 11, 2007" has to mean that anytime before 0000Z on July 12,
2007 is a valid entry. It actually should specify Zulu time, if that's the
case, for clarity. As far as postmarks go, in the U.S. they are local time. So,
an entry from Hawaii, could actually be sent, and should be valid on the
"Newington" 12th if so postmarked.
They should have better things to focus their time on in Newington. Maybe
they could go back to publishing ALL contest results in QST instead of partial
ones....especially for VHF/UHF events. I guess they need to have the page space
for the advertisers. After all, isn't that what the magazine is for?
