Back in the day...when I was NC9F I used the same type of mast. I had a 14'
length that had a 20' boom 2m beam, stacked CC424Bs, and a pair of 1296 loopers
side by side. The mast came out of the tower about 10 feet. On the other
tower I ran a 24' boom 6m antenna, a K1FO 17' 220 beam and a satellite cross
boom setup with an elevation rotor. The mast was about 6 feet out of the tower.

They worked great, I still have them in (sigh) storage. The tower with 2, 432
and 1296 bent in a great wind in. The mast stood up to it. If Pat and I give
up the cliff dwelling existence some time, these masts will be back in the
game. 73, Tim K0PG
