Finally got on for one of the sprints for the Spring. And as usual, the
sprints is where we dust off my old callsign and see if it still works ;-)
We normally operate as K3LFO/R (dad's callsign) during the big 3 contests.
Worked 11 grids and made 31 contacts. One of them was Florida. Not bad
but unfortunately almost an hour of that was eaten up by a severe
thunderstorm that went right overhead my house. Worked K1TEO and K1DS
which is always cool. Antenna was just a 6m Moxon at about 25 feet off the
deck. Worked the following 11 Grids:
EM70
FM18
FM19
FM28
FM29
FN00
FN10
FN12
FN20
FN21
FN31
Made a wopping score of 341. I can only hope we do as well in June.. hi hi.
73's and see you all for June where K3lFO/R will be out once again
battling the tree limbs ;-)
