I certainly agree with Terry.  I have been VHF contesting for over 20 years
in one form or another, and it is time to give the smaller home station
operator in the west or midwest a chance to show their stuff.

When you have to work a station that is 450 miles away and get one mult. and
one Q point for that kind of effort...and that may be one of 10 stations
that you work under the same circumstances during the entire contest, it's
time to make some adjustments.

It seems that it would also promote activity, many people have given up
contesting out here since the rover rule changes several years ago.  That
was one of the most demotivating actions the League could have ever
executed.

I agree Terry...let's look at VHF contesting and get people excited about it
again.
