I was told that the FT920 was one of the best contesting rigs, from a
contester.
When I was looking at buying a New rig a few years ago, He told Me that the
FT920 was better than the FT1000MP!!
So I have a FT920 which is a great Radio. The only thing I know of the
1000MP was the Readout was TERRIBLE...
Both Radios were on display when I bought Mine and the omniglow of the FT920
is tops....
and the radio is Excellent also...
