For splicing two different size wires together, or multiple wires paralleled to
a larger gauge wire, visit your local marine supplier and look for " step down
butt splices ".They come in many sizes and configurations and are even
available with heat shrink tubing and or adhesive. They are designed to be
weatherproof and in a high vibration environment. Just be sure you properly
crimp them.73,Gary K9GS

[TowerTalk] Prosistel rotor connectors source in USA For he 220’ run to my Tic
Ring I use 7 conductor 18 ga copper undergroundsprinkler wire I bought at
Menards. 2 pairs for the 2 motors & 3 for thepot. Runs to base of tower & then
stranded 18 ga up the tower. Tower is aHDX-555, so need strand going up.73
