The Harbor Freight flag pole you note was a good buy and has been up for
a while. Works great as a flag pole.
There is another vendor of long nonconductive poles I ran across some
time back, https://wonderpole.com/ <https://wonderpole.com/>
Would be easy to just run a large AWG wire up it with some ties as a
quick and dirty part of a vertical.

Not mentioned so far for light loads are the Harbor Freight
telescoping flag poles. Pretty well made, but not conductive because
of the plastic clamping collars. I have a couple of the 25ft ones,
which they don't seem to sell now. Surprisingly well made.
A collection of SS hose clamps, one for each joint, eliminates any
chance of collapsing.
