The only HS tower I’ve ever seen in the wild was owned by W6YI back when he was
WA6EKL (late 1960s). Could have been a HS-354 or a 471. As I remember the whole
line of TriEx guyed towers, they made a set of sections from a few inches
across to 24 inches or so. The lineup was the T, THD, H, HS. They just used
the number of sections necessary for whatever height and width of sections you
wanted. So other than section width I don’t think the materials were any
heavier. But, you know what 50 years does to one’s memory. Jim may remember
some details about the HS model in particular.

Howdy, TowerTalkians - I'm trying to track down any info on the Tri-Ex
THS-471 tower. Tashjian says they don't know anything about it. It's an older
tower with no diagonal braces but is a little on the robust side so I think
it'll handle a decent load but I need to find out what that load is. Any input
appreciated. Cheers,Steve K7LXCTOWER TECH
