Works ok around a rotator as long as you make the service loop big
enough, Also depends on whether your rotator does 360 or 450 degrees . I
am currently using LMR400 on a 450 degree rotation . I have a larger
than normal service loop as the loop must clear a 5 element 220 MHz beam
which is "fixed" below the rotating HF beam, so the feedline goes about
7' out along the boom before dropping down to clear the 220 antenna. I
use a 1" pvc elbow tie wrapped to the boom this provides a smooth
curve transition from the boom, down, thus avoiding the possibility of
sharp corner bend in the LMR at the boom

I bought LMR400 once and it seemed so stiff. Does this work OK around a
rotator? I also have some LMR400UF which has a stranded conductor and is
much more flexible however unfortunately Times used a different jacket
material which is less UV resistant. All of my rotator loops are RG-213.

I don't know if anyone has posted this but I get all my LMR 400 clone from a
company called Jefa-Tech in Md. I've used it on my last 4 stations without
a bit of a problem. It's specs are exactly the same as original Times and
is hold s up well in strong sunlight
500 ft roll is $399.95. No 1000 ft rolls available. However, shipping is
free...big savings. It is also available on Amazon Prime too. Obviously
free ship there too at the same price. Hard to beat their price and
quality. I plan on getting two rolls for the new station in V31.
