Folks,
Thank you all for the replies, both direct
and on the reflector. I do need, or should
I say, best can use 5 or more positions,
so a 4 terminal is an issue. That said, I
could use one for a 2nd project using the
hardline running to the rooftop 6M
antenna, I could use a few dipoles for the
WARC bands as I have to use my vertical
wires for them as it is. 10M & 12M I use
the 160M sloper, for 17M I use the 80M
Inv-L. Although this works and I don't
need a tuner, it would be nice to have
these have their own dedicated antennas.
The 4 position along with the 5 position
at my radial plate would work well.
I did try DXE last night but the 6
position they offer requires control
wires. I'm not aware of any rodent
repelling wire other than the flooded 75
ohm line I use for my HI-Z antennas. I've
had too many rodent chew issues to keep
doing as I have been, Chew proof
wire/repellent wire would be a cheaper
option than a new remote & controller but
it would be really nice to have the
antenna be automatically selected by the
K3s (soon to be K4D).
I have never operated SO2R, not really
sure how I'd use it, never looked into it.
I might enjoy what it offers but for the
foreseeable future contests I'll just be
me with the one radio.
I'll check out the Green Heron option, I
do use their new rotor controller and
SPID, I didn't recall they also made a
remote coax switch.
It seems like GH is the only well known
option for my requirements. I'll see if I
can find one that is excess & if not, give
them a call.
Thank you all for the replies.

Gary
