I have a wall mounted Tennamast Adapt-a-mast, the luffing winch has always been a bit dodgy to use as it is at an awkward angle and is unbraked, now the question is could I replace it with a braked winch, the tower starts from vertical so no load on the winch but as soon as it starts luffing then there is weight, would a braked winch be safe in this circumstance or should I stay with the unbraked variety. 73, Max M0GHQ _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
