I need a ~25-foot telescoping fiberglass pole for a K9AY loop.  A lot of the poles advertised on the internet seem to be quite fragile, particularly in the top section.  Any recommendations for something better?

FOr portable use? Or semi-permanent installation. Painter's poles are are available in a variety of lengths, and some styles can be stacked.

There's a variety of poles for holding cameras up high.

Maxgain systems has a bunch of stuff

The Spiderbeam/DK4SQ type 40 foot poles are pretty skinny at the top, but you don't have to use all the sections.

The ever popular crappie/panfish pole is also an inexpensive possibility, although they tend to be shorter than 25 ft. but maybe one of those on top of a 10ft fiberglass tube or painter's pole might work?

Is guying acceptable (two of the loop wires serve as guys, after all)..
