MMana-GAL has basic optimizing and it's very popular in EU - freeware. I learned modeling using MMANA but eventually stopped using it because everyone that I talked too used EZNEC and getting help with use or design was hard as they did not know MMANA.

AutoEZ is an Excel-based toolset serving as a front end for EZNEC. Somewhat more of a learning curve than MMANA but you can do just about anything you can imagine with the pair. Small fees for both EZNEC and AutoEZ.

I have used YO in the past with good results.

It's still available on an old DOS computer.

What current software has optimizing routines?

I have older versions of YW and EZNEC.

I don't see optimizing routines in either.
