## on advice of my electrician buddy, who is also a ham, I used,
2 gauge, stranded CU, insulated. Called RW-90. Then cadwelded
at rod ends. And compression lugs used at tower end. I also used
RW-90 in 10 and 8 gauge, for wire ants. That stuff last forever
outdoors. Solid 2 gauge is a bitch to work with. And yes, lightning
will do multiple 90 deg bends.
