Your post is surprising as I thought FSJ4 was pretty durable. The dielectric
foam leaves little if any room for water to flow though the center. The
jacket is thinner than LDF4 but it is still not easily damaged and any
exterior water ingress would still not cause an issue unless it leaked past
the connector o-ring. I use a number of FSJ4 jumpers outdoors and I am sure
that it was very common in commercial installations. When I think of water
hose coax, 9913 comes to mind.

My experience with FSJ4-50B is not positive. I've nicknamed it the
'firehose'
as a result of its ability to take on water and have it track down the coax.
