For Winter Field Day this year I used my UAV (a DJI Mavic Pro) to pull a
fishing line over a tree as a messenger line, then used that to pull up a
proper rope, and then a dipole. The antenna was placed exactly where I wanted
it and in about 10 minutes.

It was so easy I'll never use a slingshot/launcher/fishing rod (by itself) ever
again.
