FAR better to use twisted pair, which is much harder to buy but easy
to roll your own. Simply buy lengths (or spools) of black and white
stranded THHN, stick one end of both conductors in a hand drill, the
other end in a vise, and run the drill slowly for a while. Let the
twisted conductors sit overnight in the drill and vise. They will try
to untwist, but letting them sit minimizes that. The twist will not be
perfectly uniform, but it will be plenty good enough.
