Harbor Freight comealongs are about the cheapest tool you can buy and I’ve never had one fail, even under abuse. I once tightened one with a pipe cheater on the handle and got it to about middle C. Northern Tool sells about the same stuff, maybe a small increment better quality. Check all pins and fittings before starting and keep a layer of cable on the drum.
