THAT was the stuff - PB Blaster... let it sit for DAYS ... nothing - nada.
Tried WD-40 just for SnG's, and yes I'm aware its water displacement but it
also does work in some lubrication cases - works great on silencing a
squeaky hinge!

There are much better penetrants than WD40. The WD stands for water
displacement. HOWEVER with Al to Al, in small engines with stuck
pistons, you take the spark plug out, dump in some liquid WD40 and "try
it the next day. Generally the motor will turn over easily.
The key in all of these approaches is the "wait"
Try PB Blaster, or Mouse Milk (yes that's a real name) and wait. You
need to give the penetrating oil tine to work. "Generally", it's not a
squirt and pull!
Forcing stuck, Al to Al is likely to cause galling where the Aluminum in
the tubes "joins" as if they were welded.
"Usually" old antenna tubing is stuck due to oxidation, or salt
corrosion. In that case heat "may" work, but it's a fine line between
not enough and too much. If it were me(and it's not), I'd give the end
of the outer tube a shot of PB Blaster, wait 24 hours and then try
"tapping the screwdriver in the end trick suggested in one of the first
couple of posts

Have a couple of tube to tube joints that are not coming apart with
‘gentle persusian’. They been sitting in a coast air environment for a few
years (maybe 10).
What recommendations here on TT of best solutions (s) to work into the
