Dan -
If this helps, see my Phillystran installation details at
http://www.w3yy.com/Phillystran.htm
Be sure to click on the "For a step-by-step pictorial Click Here", to see
the assembly details.
And, as Tim, K3LR, has advised, use a tower professional if you are not one
yourself.
The Phillystran guy grips shown on my web site have been up for about 13
years now, supporting both a 100ft and 120ft tower, without any problems.

Subject: [TowerTalk] PhillyStrand GRIPS???
Question..I have a tower to put up for a ham in the Atl area.. He is using
PhillyStrand for the top set of guys,, and steel 1X7 EHS below that.. He
ordered it from the most famous place,, and they sent guy grips,,, what we
call performs for the phillystrand..Has any of you done this before ?? I
have never used them on Philly. Seems to me that philly is too soft and
pliable not to allow gripping strength. A steel cable is not giving and the
grip has positive gripping. So,, what has anyone done along this idea. I
want to know that the top set of philly is not going anywhere while I am on
this tower...73 Dan N4GNR
