Sorry Roger,
It was not clear from you first post that you have the optional limit switch
controller. My documentation only covers the standard manual motor control
(no limit switches). Doubt that it will help you.

Sure, I'm interested in alternative approaches. I still want to make use of
the limit switches. They serve a dual purpose. When on the switch it backs
up the ability to go the other way
