The mosleys are popular around the midwest as Mosley is just up the road.
And they have one feature that is important here - they have a reputation of
staying up in the ice and wind pretty well. The antenna that stays on the
tower in the wx is always better than the one that's on the ground.

No Doug, your "facts" are opinions and wishes. Facts are backed up
by objective proof - you have none. In objective head to head tests
the Mosley antennas are repeatedly worst in class.
That's not to say one can't work stations with Mosley antennas - as
N6BT shows everything works somethings just work better than others.
Enjoy your Mosley antennas and be happy that they work in spite of
the gross design errors that damage their efficiency. Remember,
everything works and you can certainly make up for inefficiency by
pumping more power into the Mosley antenna.

Thanks Dave; you made me have a good laugh.

I know Steve posted what he did just to 'start a riot', nothing else,
nothing constructive, just blather. I would expect better from the list
owner.
Steve will probably unsubscribe me from Towertalk for posting this; that's
the way Steve operates if you don't agree with him.
Round 1 goes to Dave.
