| I don't think that is a problem. Is using just that and have seen no problems.
If you feel unsure, add a clamp at the upper end and there will be no slippage
ever. No, I didn't do that, just the "dead end" as they came in the box. Black
marked for 5/16" wires. The dead-end is marked in two places and the guy wire
should be terminated between the marks. Simple!

I agree with Mike. One thing to add - do not be tempted by the low price of
guy wire grips used on power line poles. They do not have suffucient
holding power for a tower.

Big grips are absolutely the only way to go. Period-paragraph.

No fighting guy cable to get u-bolts on. 2-3 minutes and you are ready to
go.
Just make sure you get the correct Big Grip, e.g for 3/16 EHS the Big Grip
is marked in red.

.And, if it Rohn, it is good!

As I am getting ready to install my guyed tower I would like to know if
anyone has experience with

ROHN BG2142 - ROHN Galvanized Big Grip Dead Ends Do they work well? I don't
want to purchase something that does not work.
