## whats really bending the rules and cheating is using a remote internet RX to make contacts on HF. Im real tempted to install RX beverages for 160M on my daughters 5 acres..just so I can hear better. Jim VE7RF AgreedAccessing your station via the internet is still using your station and requires no notification. If you have a remote station out in the boonies on uncle Fred's place, it's still licensed as your station via remote. No problem. However the so called internet receiver isn't within your 1500 ft circle. It's breaking the rules, not bending them. 73 Roger (K8RI) _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
