The rental is for access to a station. The renter would have to be properly
licensed to operate said station. This is exactly the same as renting a
house that has ham radio gear and antennas located on the property.
The only difference I can see is that access is via an Internet connection
instead of via a physical doorway.
I don't understand all the controversy.
