As I remember, LMR-400 is pretty light! With a foil shield and little
braid, and it's copper clad aluminum center, and the highly porous foam, it
is pretty light.
And you are correct! It's not very flexible.
Better check out the standard Times Wire LMR-400 before you make the call
that it's sub standard.
