The house that KH6YY owns I believe has six towers which would likely be
impossible to duplicate with current zoning restrictions. The house has
been sold a number of times since the station was built in the 70's. It
was always sold to other hams which is very rare.

Been there and done that. I intensively marketed two BIG contest
stations..one in FL and one in KH6. The one in FL was bigger with three
200
footers
and several smaller ones. The one in KH6 had a tower that was mistakenly
granted a permit for 150 feet. The limitation in KH6 is 90 feet but mine
was 150 and was located on an almost one of kind location for radio.
Neither sold to a ham but I had quite a bit of interest on the KH6 and
most hams agreed that the price was a fair one...a great location for a view
and a super location with enormous drop offs. That being said, I don't
think having a tower and antenna on a regular piece of property (let's say a
70
footer) on a regular residential street would really be worth much more.
I think the places that would be of interest with towers would be more
exotic...6Y, ZF, C6 etc.
