I had a sheet metal cover made for my motor on my LM-470.  Keeps most  of 
the direct rain off.  Unfortunately, the motor on the TX-472 MDP is  mounted 
on the bottom of the bottom and not easily covered.  If you have  the MD-75 
though, a sheet metal cover can be easy to mount
