My reason was simple- It was part of a "package deal" and I didn't know
I had it until I got home. I was shocked when I saw the design, and even
more shocked when I saw the price. Several years ago.
I recently bought a used 2" bearing, another brand, an excellent design,
in the price range you mentioned.
