I purchased 3 that are about a foot long. "Taper Pin", or "Alignment
punches" are long with a very gradual taper. They work on the large and
small holes on 25G and 45G and would probably work on even larger sizes.
The ones I have are Enderes D6 5/32" alignment punches. The small end is
only about 1/8" in diameter. The largest part of the taper is probably a
tad over a 1/2" regardless of the 5/32" size listed. They are relatively
inexpensive.
They come in a wide range of sizes but are far longer than typical
punches. I purchased 3 at either Ace Hardware or Lowe's. Be sure to ask
for "Taper Pin" or "Alignment Punches" and not regular punches.
73 and good luck
