Since this thread started out as a rant, of course it went downhill
from there. There are resources available for permitting questions; K1VR's
excellent Antenna Zoning book and my UP THE TOWER book which has 2 chapters
on legal issues. Thanks to those who contributed useful info.
FYI, Fred K1VR is working on a new printing of his book on Antenna Zoning
and it SHOULD be available shortly. Details to follow.
