Howdy, TowerTalkians --
Since this thread started out as a rant, of course it went downhill
from there. There are resources available for permitting questions; K1VR's
excellent Antenna Zoning book and my UP THE TOWER book which has 2 chapters
on legal issues. Thanks to those who contributed useful info.
This is really outside the purview of TowerTalk. If you want to get
all political, get going on your local building department. Yes, it's a bunch
of work but sometimes the squeaky wheel gets greased.
Please feel free to address thoughtful questions on tower and HF
antenna construction projects. Do your homework first and when you have actual
construction questions, come on back for TT input. Tnx.
