Hi Larry -

I'm using a dual, phased, four direction pennant system with 70 foot loops 
on 40, 80 and 160. I find that it's still very effective in the broadcast 
band, so I would guess that the loops would still be good at half the size, 
just smaller output voltage. In fact it might be a little more effective on 
40. I had not planned on using it on 40 but found it very effective for 
cutting down the QRN from central U.S. during the summer.
