The antenna is surrounded by a salt-marsh...I watched the impedance of the 1/4 vertical drop each time I added four 1/4wave radials till I got to 48 of them...then no more change. I left it at that and I'm satisfied with the results that I can't really measure beyond input impedance, haha. 73, Dave Wa3gin Whether this reflection takes place, and how efficiently it >happens is dependent on the ground characteristics at that distance.
