The rotors are just fine, the control box is overly complex in my opinion.
Check the dxa series, mine are all the sdx which used a motor driven
indicator that turned the full 450 degrees... very pretty but the motors
driving the indicator were too cheap and needed frequent replacement, which
requires taking the control box most of the way apart. See my notes at:
